SPIRAL SEQUENCER (NI Reaktor)

a Tech SOUND TALK
I only just figured out how to get NI (Native Instruments) Reaktor's Spiral Sequencer to control an external instrument in another Ableton Live 9 Midi track.  For anyone as clueless as I am here's the steps I took to achieve this.

Before trying this however, you might like to first check out Brent Kallmer's Youtube video, at https://youtu.be/xINRksSacUE. Brent shows, step by step, how to use Spiral to sequence an instrument in Reaktor itself.  You'll probably understand the instructions below better if you do.

ABLETON -
* Create a Midi Track.
* Load Reaktor.
* Click on the Spanner Icon.

REAKTOR -
* Locate Spiral in Reaktor's Browser
   (Factory/Instruments/Sequencers).
* Go to Edit Mode, if not there already, to reveal
   Spiral's structure.
* Remove the 2 inputs, & any instrument modules if
   present, leaving only the Spiral module & 2 outputs.
* Connect the Spiral module to the 2 outputs.

ABLETON -
* Create another Midi Track.
* Load desired instrument.
* Set Input to Reaktor Track.
* Switch from Pre or Post FX to Reaktor.
* Press Play.

You may have to wait a few seconds before you hear anything as some of Spiral's snapshots don't start right away.
