Asia 1234 X3

SOUND DOODLES

This sound doodle is the 3rd in a series of experiments I am presently working on with samples of myself saying 1234 in Hindi, Chinese, Korean & Japanese, processed through Tim Exile's Mouth & NI's Battery 4 plug-ins. This particular one only uses the Hindi samples and was completed in Logic X.

  1. Interesting! They should play this whenever your number dialed has actually been changed, might soften the blow a bit.

  2. I put the telephone sfx in because they sound cool, and also as a reference to the idea that the identity of the numbers, 1, 2, 3 & 4, remains the same no matter what language they are spoken in, it is only their physical form that changes. As a sound geek I find the difference fun, but as an innate philosopher I think it's an important delineation to grasp in reference to all of us as human beings.
