I am an Australian Sound Designer (based in Brisbane) with a BA in Music (voice major), a Grad Dip in Music Teaching and a Bachelor in Digital Screen Production. I have completed soundtracks for animated and live action shorts, digital art installations and European poker machine games. In my spare time I enjoy working with interactive media, writing screenplays, music, movies, reading, walking, dancing, playing games and hanging out with my friends and family.

RAT RACE

SOUND 4 ANIMATION


'Rat Race', by Rosa Hughes and Mark Tweedale, was meant for an animation competition, via the Sydney Opera House, run in 4 stages, with the rat race as its theme. For each stage an object was nominated for inclusion in a single section of the animation. Rosa & Mark made it to the 2nd section, but not the 3rd, which is why it has only 2 sections. Also, because the competition stipulated the use of a particular piece of music, or at least 1 of it's stems (instrumental parts), Rosa & Mark used some of the sound effects I had created, but not any of the music. So here's the soundtrack as I originally made it, but not what was entered.

I was very sorry when Rosa & Mark didn't make it right through to the end of the competition, for their sake and for mine, cause I had lots of fun making it and really would have enjoyed finishing it!
