I am an Australian Sound Designer (based in Brisbane) with a BA in Music (voice major), a Grad Dip in Music Teaching and a Bachelor in Digital Screen Production. I have completed soundtracks for animated and live action shorts, digital art installations and European poker machine games. In my spare time I enjoy working with interactive media, writing screenplays, music, movies, reading, walking, dancing, playing games and hanging out with my friends and family.

OUCHIES

SOUND 4 ANIMATION


'Ouchies' was a pilot to a kid's show that Magic Pantry Productions was seeking funds for. Rosa and Mark's animation and temp sound work on it suggested that I design a soundtrack with Warner Bros. cartoons in mind. Not just the types of sounds they used, but also the games of expectation they often played. 'Ouchies' isn't of course, in the same league as a Warner Bros. Cartoon, but, in order to maximise what potential it does have, it has been designed to work like one.

    I love it. So much better than any number of children's cartoons on tv (trust me, I listen to them all day at work). I totally understand your 'Warner Bros' comments too, it really works.
