A Hint of Tango

SOUND DOODLES

I completed this Sound Doodle A Hint of Tango on the 12th December 2013. I've been trying to do a ringtone for my friend Rosa H's birthday, but I seem to keep going sideways into tangos. Maybe it's because I watched the Spanish movie 'Tango' a couple of weeks ago again? It's a cool movie by the way, if you're into dancing! I digress.... as a result of this sideways journey I decided to give in to it and this was the result.

  1. I gotta say, it didn't strike me as stereotypically tango-ish! except perhaps that chord right at the very end. i like how laid back it was though, and the second melody that comes in around 1:40.

  2. If I stuck the usual tango tune over the top you would hear it then.... Its in the rhythm rather than the melody & harmonies:-)

  3. I love it! So intricate, and so many layers. I first saw a couple of fabulous mice doing a tango. But then it could also be mission impossible, spy styling!
